We realize how Armis plays a key role in shaping your asset inventory and prioritizing and remediating a broad variety of security findings. With this release v24.2 you’ll gain enhanced visibility and explainability into how certain data-driven decisions are made within our platform. These insights will enable a better understanding of our decision-making processes for each asset profile and its associated risks:

• Identification and Consolidation provides enhanced visibility into raw data from your existing asset pull integrations and sources. This is ideal for users seeking a deeper understanding of their inventory’s building blocks, beginning with the scope of a single device.
• Explore Merged Assets View: Use the “explore merged assets” view to analyze and understand how assets seen by different data sources are merged. This information helps you to gain deeper insights into the impact of each data source in your inventory, ensuring more informed decision-making and effective inventory management.
• Risk Factors Explainability: Armis Centrix™ already calculates a risk score based on multiple factors, including risks like unpatched software versions or known hardware exploits, anomalies like port scans, and vulnerabilities. To put all of these insights to work, release 24.2 introduces a new side panel for Risk Factors which includes extensive contextual information. This will provide the necessary context and information for effective risk identification, investigation and remediation.
