We are proud to share that Armis has been named a Leader in the 2025 GigaOm Radar for Attack Surface Management (ASM). Not only did we reconfirm our 2024 Leader position in the Maturity and Platform quadrant, but this year we also achieved the highest score in the Key Features comparison and are the closest vendor to the radar center.

2025 GigaOm Radar for Attack Surface Management (ASM)

Why Armis is Positioned as a Leader

Armis’ placement in the GigaOm Radar as a Leader and Fast Mover reflects strong capabilities for internal attack surface management, third-party risk identification, and dark web monitoring. The report notes that Armis “focuses specifically on helping organizations identify and manage cyber risk across their entire asset ecosystem … The solution provides automated asset discovery, continuous monitoring, and risk-based prioritization.”

This recognition by GigaOm is a testament to the advances Armis has made in helping organizations identify and mitigate all cyber risk. The Armis Centrix™ Cyber Exposure Management platform consolidates, deduplicates, and contextualizes vulnerabilities across all connected assets, prioritizes them based on risk, assigns actionable insights to relevant teams, and facilitates rapid remediation.

The report states that Armis Centrix™ “addresses complex enterprise environments by providing continuous discovery and monitoring of traditional IT assets, cloud resources, and endpoint devices. This includes maintaining visibility across hybrid infrastructures and identifying security gaps in diverse technology stacks.”

Armis Centrix™ achieved the highest average score (4.7 out of 5) in the Key Features comparison and earned the highest score, 5 stars, in 8 decision criteria: Attack Path Analysis, Internal ASM, Asset Categorization, Asset Correlation, Third-Party Risk, Flexibility, Scalability and Ease of Use. Armis Centrix™ also earned high marks in additional criteria such as Assessment of Vulnerabilities, Custom Threat Intelligence, Dark Web Monitoring, Risk Scoring, and Discovery Frequency.

Looking at a few specific features where Armis Centrix™ outperforms, the report noted:

  • Internal ASM: “Armis’s Asset Intelligence Engine performs continuous, non-intrusive network asset discovery and monitoring. Moreover, the solution maintains a dynamic inventory of over 5 billion profiled assets through AI-driven behavioral analysis and vulnerability scanning.”
  • Third-party risk identification: “Armis provides comprehensive identification of subsidiary and third-party assets through integrated data sources while supporting hierarchical organization structures and customizable classification schemas across departments, geographies, and network segments.”
  • Dark web monitoring: “Armis integrated AI-powered threat-hunting technology following the acquisition of CTCI. The solution monitors dark web activity and employs deception technology to detect potential CVE exploits, with current coverage of 1,600 CVEs beyond CISA’s known exploits.”

GigaOm analyst Chris Ray highlights that Armis Centrix™ “consists of several integrated modules including Armis Asset Intelligence, Armis Asset Management, and Armis Vulnerability Management. These work together to create a unified view of an organization’s attack surface by analyzing asset relationships, configurations, and behavior patterns.”

“Attack Surface Management (ASM) has emerged as a critical security capability”

The report points out that “as enterprises accelerate their digital transformation initiatives and adopt hybrid work models, the challenge of maintaining comprehensive visibility across both internal and external assets has become increasingly complex.” At Armis, we agree wholeheartedly with this view.

The attack surface is constantly changing as assets are added or removed and as operating systems, apps, configurations and connections evolve over time. That’s why we are dedicated to delivering visibility in all cloud and on-prem environments, across all platforms, and for all assets and devices. This way you can see the whole attack surface that needs to be protected and begin securing your environment.

Armis Centrix™ overcomes the issues of siloed solutions and enables teams to build a comprehensive risk reduction program – either manually or via automated workflows. Whether you’re a CISO, enterprise architect, risk vulnerability manager, or member of an IT or SecOps team, Armis Centrix™ allows you to see, protect and manage your entire attack surface, streamlining your operations and bringing order and control to the chaos faced daily.

Understanding the GigaOm Radar for Attack Surface Management

The GigaOm Radar for Attack Surface Management assesses vendors providing ASM functionality and compares them against decision criteria including key features (such as attack path analysis, assessment of vulnerabilities, internal ASM, risk scoring, asset categorization, asset correlation, third-party risk), emerging features, such as custom threat intelligence and dark web monitoring, as well as associated business criteria, such as flexibility, cost, ease-of-use, and scalability.

The GigaOm Radar plots vendor solutions across a series of concentric rings with those set closer to the center judged to be of higher overall value. The chart characterizes each vendor on two axes—balancing Maturity versus Innovation and Feature Play versus Platform Play—while providing an arrowhead that projects each solution’s evolution over the coming 12 to 18 months.

Armis Centrix™ is positioned as a Leader in the Maturity/Platform Play quadrant and is the closest vendor to the radar center.

According to Chris Ray, “the attack surface management market has evolved significantly, moving beyond basic asset discovery to become an integral component of modern security programs,” with key themes centered around “the convergence of internal and external attack surface monitoring, the integration of threat intelligence for enhanced risk prioritization, and the growing emphasis on automated discovery and validation processes.”
