I’m proud to announce that Armis has joined the Operational Technology Cybersecurity Coalition (OT Cyber Coalition). The OT Cyber Coalition is a diverse group of leading cybersecurity vendors working to enhance the resiliency of our nation’s critical infrastructure. As the leading asset intelligence cybersecurity company, Armis is joining this coalition to help combat the growing attack surface faced by government organizations.
We are all living in an age of digital transformation, which has delivered a myriad number of connected assets promising efficiency and enhanced user experiences. However, these assets also present challenges, especially when it comes to security. This is the source of the expanding threat surface facing the government. These connected assets, fundamental to daily life and government operations, are targets for cyberattacks. Their widespread adoption and inherent connectivity make them attractive targets for our nation’s cyber adversaries.
No systems are more vulnerable than the public sector utilities we all rely on each day yet are often taken for granted. Power stations, water treatment plants, K-12, universities, pipelines, and more are critical to keeping modern society running smoothly. Yet too often these critical systems lack advanced security and do not have a clear picture of all the assets on the network – OT, IT, and IoT.
Armis combats this lack of threat awareness with the most advanced cyber exposure management technology in the security industry. Armis Centrix™ is powered by the Armis AI-driven Asset Intelligence Engine, which sees, protects, and manages billions of assets around the world in real-time. Armis Centrix™ is a seamless, cloud-based platform that proactively mitigates all cyber asset risks, remediates vulnerabilities, blocks threats, and protects the entire threat surface. The platform is FedRAMP and IL4 authorized and enables agencies to be proactive in their cybersecurity policies.
This is the kind of cybersecurity technology that will allow us to extract all the benefits of digital transformation while also protecting us from those who would do us harm. We share the view of the OTCC in that the most effective approach to securing our nation’s critical infrastructure is one that is open, vendor-neutral, and allows for diverse solutions and information sharing. Together with the other members of the coalition, we will move the cybersecurity of our nation forward.
